Erin Stusick has a Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology, is a Registered Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, and is a member of the Canadian Psychology Association.
Erin has counselling experience in a variety of settings such as elementary and high schools, post-secondary institutions, community agencies, and private practice.
Erin provides individual counselling to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of treatment issues including depression and anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), grief and loss, self-esteem and identity, relationships and sexuality, adjustment and transitional issues, and Tourette Syndrome and Tics.
Erin also has a special interest in the treatment of various trauma- related issues and is trained and experienced in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In addition to various workshops and professional development opportunities, Erin attended specialized training through the Behaviour Therapy Training Institute in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in 2014 as well as Comprehensive Behavioural Intervention (CBIT) for Tics through Tourette Canada in 2019. These evidence-based management strategies can be used with children, adolescents and adults.
Erin believes in a client-centered approach where she integrates a range of interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and exposure-based therapy, play and art-based strategies, and mindfulness-oriented approaches to tailor treatment specifically to each person’s individual needs.
